  1. Hello there!! My main concern with these upcoming changes is with the plant count. The drastically low plant count regulations impact people who grow this plant for more than just medicine, such as geneticists and preservationists. We as geneticists and preservationists rely on a diverse library of genetics for research and development purposes as well as for posterity of cannabis varietal history for our future generations. In order to properly hunt and make selections for preservation and breeding, we need larger plant counts.

Not every Breeder is a large name corporate scale operation. People like myself (geneticists and preservationists) need to have freedom to do what is mandatory for cannabis to be preserved in an ethical manner. Everyone can pollen chuck with shoddy ethics, not many people want to take the time to make selections ethically.

This being said, the ones who do the work properly and with purpose need to be able to work comfortably without worrying about losing a majority of their libraries.

Thank you for hearing me, and I would be Willing to make public comments in conference. I hope this finds you well and that you actually see the validity of these arguments.
